Message: I have no idea where the negative reviews come from. I've frequented this library for over 6 years and have always found the staff to be courteous, polite, and helpful. Anne, Sarah, and Erica always greet me with a smile. This review, coming from a lifelong New Yorker, should tell you something.

Message: The staff here really go above and beyond! My daughter loves to read and was beginning a new series and I expressed my hope to surprise her with all of the books in the series when I picked her up from school. I called that morning and they called me that afternoon to say they had all the books but one! My daughter was SO excited to begin the series! They are always super helpful, we love both of our local libraries!

Message: Disappointed with the service while I am there with my children. I have three small children and while some of the staff are courteous there are a few members that have made snide comments about them. Since the Island is mostly retirees, there don't seem to be children frequenting the library. Either that, or they feel as unwelcome as we do.

Message: A great, small, beach library. Everyone is always helpful! There are free books and magazines all year round. Bring your's and take some away. They have guest speakers and a food drop off box for the local Food Pantry. Love it!
